Error description

  • Switches and Fabrics are detected via CIMOM and/or SRA data
sources (when SRAs have the Fabric function enabled). SRAs are
capable of detecting all fabric-connected devices regardless of
whether or not TPC supports the device. When a user removes a
data source that is managing a certain switch from TPC, all
associated entities for that data source should be set to
missing regardless of whether or not the device is supported.
Unsupported devices appear in the topology viewer identified by
WWN but may not have much other detail available. These
unsupported devices become orphaned when their managing data
source is removed from TPC, and as such their detectability
status never gets updated so they are not removable through the
    TPC GUI.
With this APAR it will be assured that we check if the removed
data source is the last one that is seeing a switch. If that's
the case all related entities will be set to missing.
