Error description

  • If the virtual system does an unexpected warm restart, and an
    Ethernet interface was the active standby control node with MAC
    takeover, its MAC address is not properly reset.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Affected are customers using DataPower virtual appliances in
    standby configuration with MAC takeover.
    
    If the appliance which is currently the active standby node goes
    through immediate restart, the interface's MAC address is not
    reset.
