APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A point-in-time restore operation might fail if the following
    conditions are met :
    
    - Some of the data required for the restore operation resides in
      an Active-Data Pool
    - Point in Time option is used on client side
    - No Query Restore is used
    
    The restore fails with errors on client side :
    
    ANS4988W File '/path/filename' is currently unavailable on
    server and has been skipped.
    
    On Server side :
    
    ANR0836W No query restore processing session xx for node
    NODENAME and filespace / failed to retrieve file
           /path/filename  - file being skipped.
    
    The problem will not occur if the DISABLENQR client option is
    set to YES.
    
    
    Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected:  6.1 , 6.2 , 6.3

  • - Add the following option to the client options file:
       DISABLENQR=YES
