IC89244: RE-SENT EBMS MESSAGE WAS CHANGED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A partner re-sent the ebMS ACK after DataPower re-sent an ebMS
  Message.  Even though the partner re-sent the ebMS ACK toward
  the original ebMS Message, DataPower recognized this ebMS ACK as
  "Digest not match the original message".
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Affected are DataPower B2B Appliance customers resending an
  ebMS2
  outbound message with signed ebMS2 acknoledgement requested.
  
  The modification of <eb:Timestamp> and <eb:TimeToLive> elements
  of an outbound re-sent ebMS2 message causes mismatch of digest
  value when receiving signed ebMS2 ACK from partners.
  
  The DataPower B2B Appliance modifies the content of
  <eb:Timestamp> and <eb:TimeToLive> elements which is not
  consistent with ebMS2 specification 2.0.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is available in 4.0.1.16, 4.0.2.12 and 5.0.0.6
