Error description
The Tivoli Storage Manager admin guide documents the following for the node targetlevel parameter: update node node_name targetlevel=v.r.m.f where node_name is the name of the node that you are updating. v.r.m.f is the version, release, modification, and fix level of the package that you want to deploy. For example, 6.2.1.0. The documentation needs to be changed to better describe what impact the parameter has on client deployment and to qualify the advisory that is currently associated with the parameter. Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: 6.2 and newer Initial Impact: Low Additional Keywords: client deploy zz62 zz63

Problem conclusion
In the Tivoli Storage Manager Administrator's Guide, the topic "Defining a schedule for an automatic deployment" will be changed. Step 2, which describes how to update a node by using the TARGETLevel parameter, will be removed. This step is not required when defining an automatic client deployment. In the Tivoli Storage Manager Administrator's Reference, the "UPDATE NODE" and "REGISTER NODE" topics will be updated. The first two paragraphs of the TARGETLevel parameter definition will be changed as follows: "Specifies the client deployment package that is targeted for this node. You can substitute an applicable release package for V.R.M.F, which stands for Version.Release.Modification.Fix Level. For example: TARGETLevel=6.2.0.0 You must specify each segment with a number that is applicable to a deployment package. You cannot use an asterisk in any field as a substitution for a valid number. The parameter is optional." Affected platforms: AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux, and Windows.
