Error description
Standby group VIP fails to allow connection after a network failure or disconnect occurs. A network failure, broken connection, or failed link type of issue might prevent connectivity to the device IP and/or the VIP.
Local fix
Problem summary
Affected are customers using multiple DataPower appliances in standby group configuration, or a single appliance with multiple IP addresses configured on single network interface. The standby group might fail to recover from some network connectivity or device failures, for example scenarios involving network bifurcation. Similarly, some sequences of multiple IP address manipulation might lead to lost connectivity.
Problem conclusion
The fix is available in 4.0.2.10 and 5.0.0.4 For a list of the latest fix packs available, please see: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21237631
