Error description

• Problem Description:
  When HSM Monitor Service runs reconciliation on nested volume
  all files in directories on the nested volume are deleted on the
  TSM server. Consequently these files cannot be recalled. They
  must be restored from backup copies if possible.
  
  Affected Products:
  Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows versions 6.1.0.0 -
  6.1.3.3, 5.5.0.0 - 5.5.2.7:
  
  Customer/L2 diagnostics:
  Check if nested volume is configured for reconciliation using
  'dsmhsmclc query' command or HSM for Windows GUI Reconcile
  Settings. A configuration for reconciliation of nested volume
  exists, if you find a path to volume like: M:\nested\     (in
  this example 'M' is drive letter, 'nested' is the name of the
  nested volume).
  
  Additional Keywords: HSM for Windows, reconcile, nested volume
  
  Initial Impact: File recall fails because migrated file is not
  resident in the configured file space on TSM server.
  

Local fix

• Unconfigure Reconcile on nested volumes. Configure Reconcile on
  drive letter instead. Restore files from backup copies on TSM
  server if possible.
