Error description

• Malformed S/MIME headers in incoming messages into certain
  services might cause an appliance restart.  This affects
  cryptographic binary actions such as decrypt and verify actions
  as well as B2B gateway
  services that receive encrypted or compressed AS1/AS2/AS3
  protocol messages.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Affected are users of cryptobin actions that are configured to
  decrypt or verify incoming messages as well as users of B2B
  Gateway services that are configured to receive incoming
  compressed or encrypted messages over AS1, AS2, or AS3.
  
  Certain malformed
  S/MIME messages might cause an appliance restart when received
  by the above services.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is available in 3.8.2.14, 4.0.1.12, 4.0.2.8, and
  5.0.0.0.
