Error description

• Trying to re-install Sterling Connect:Direct for Windows
  4.6.0.2 with solidDB into the same location as before fails
  with an error:
  Cannot create database because old log file sol00001.log exists
  in the log files directory.
  Possibly the database has been deleted without deleting the log
  files or there are log files from some other database in the
  log files directory of the database to be created.

Problem conclusion

• Resolution Summary:
  The installation always creates a new solidDB database. Updated
  the product installer to delete existing transaction logs
  (solNNNNN.log) in addition to deleting the existing database
  file (solid.db) when re-installing the product. Note that this
  fix is only available in a new product installer.
  Workaround: delete the "sol?????.log" files from the
  solidDB6.5\cdwinnt directory before re-installing.
