IC83826: EXPIRATION LOCKING CAN CAUSE REPLICATE NODEGROUP COMMAND TO APPEAR HUNG

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• It is normal for Expiration to use an exclusive lock  especially
  if removing an object and Replication to use shared locks.
  Expiration will eventually release the lock and replication
  would be able to proceed.   The problem is the Replicate
  Nodegroup command does not return to the prompt until the
  expiration releases the locks needed by replication.
  
  Locking can be changed so that the Replicate Nodegroup command
  will return and not appear hung.
