IC83626: ENTERPRISE CONFIGURATION MANAGER AND SSL ENCRYPTION FOR NODE REPLICATION IS NOT COMPATIBLE ON THE TARGET SERVER

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When SSL encryption is enabled for Node Replication, the
  Enterprise Configuration Manager will fail to connect to the
  target (managed server).  Documentation is need to clearly
  document this restriction
  
  Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: All 63 servers
  
  Example of messages:
  ANR2017I Administrator xxx issued command:
  NOTIFY SUBSCRIBERS
  ANR3092I NOTIFY SUBSCRIBERS: Subscriber
  notification processing has begun.
   ANR0456W Session rejected for server server_name
  - the  server name at xxx, 1500 does not match.
  
  ANR0454E Session rejected by server server_name,
  reason:   Verification Failure.
  ANR3151E Configuration refresh failed with
  configuration manager server_name.
  This is due to a restriction when SSL encryption is enabled for
  Node Replication that prevents an Enterprise Configuration
  Manager to be configured to the target server
