IC81904: BACKUP NODE MAY CRASH THE SERVER IN NDMPGETFILESYSTEM

Error description

  • The Tivoli Storage Manager server can crashes during BACKUP NODE
    process. This will occur, when the NAS file has no physical
    volumes defined. There were no error messages seen in the
    actlog.

Local fix

  • Do not perform a BACKUP NODE on a NAS box that has no volumes on
    it to backup
