Error description

  • The NFS url-open extension function did not check for write
errors due to failures of the NFS protocol.

Problem summary


    

  • Affected are DataPower customers writing files to a Network File
System (NFS) Server using the url-open() extension function, or
using the 'dpnfs' protocol scheme in a service configuration
such as the Multi-Protocol Gateway.



Resolves an issue where the appliance might not have detected
that the payload written to an NFS server had failed.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix is available on 3.8.2.12, 4.0.1.10 and 4.0.2.6.
