Error description

  • A DataPower appliance may fail to restart successfully after
    recovering from an internal error, when running a configuration
    that uses NFS static or dynamic mounts.

Problem summary

  • Affected are  DataPower customers using Network File System
    (NFS) servers.
    
    
    Problem Summary:
    The appliance might fail to recover automatically after
    detecting a fatal condition caused by failing to communicate
    with an unreliable, failing NFS volume.  This could require the
    administrator to physically reboot the appliance via the power
    switch.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available on 3.8.2.12, 4.0.1.10 and 4.0.2.6.
