IC81359: DB2 UNINSTALLED DURING TSM UPGRADE TO 6.1.5.10

Error description

• When upgrading Tivoli Storage Manager to version 6.1.5.10
  the installation can be reported to be successful.
    However, DB2 can be uninstalled due to a deployment
    engine machine inventory check that can fail when verifying
    the version of DB2 that is installed with the Tivoli
    Storage Manager.

    Reviewing the installation log files the following is
    reported:

    IAGLOBAL_DB2_9.5_SolarisSPARC_InPlan=skip

    IAGLOBAL_DB2_9.5_SolarisSPARC_Machine_Narrow=false
    * This is the variable that is marked wrong and causing the
      uninstall of DB2.
