IC81301: GUI ALWAYS DISPLAYS A STUB FILE COUNT OF ZERO

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The HSM for Windows GUI, dsmgui.exe, does not count stubs, if
  the file space saving calculation is run for a migration job.
  The stub file count is reported as 0 in the dialog. Other values
  in the file space saving dialog are reported correctly.
  
  Affected Products: HSM for Windows 6.3.0.0, 6.1.5.0, 6.1.4.2,
  5.5.3.1
  

Local fix

• Use dsmfileinfo.exe to count stub files.

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved. Stubs are counted correctly in
