IC81214: PREPARED INSERT/UPDATE WHEN EXECUTED ON SDS DOES NOT SHOW ON SDSON FOLLOWING DML STATEMENT UNTIL SOME DELAY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Following scenario:
  
  a) customer executes appl against the SDS Sec (prepared
  insert/update)
  b) Don't get any error from the insert / update
  
  c) Selects the inserted row and gets the notfound
  
  d) does the select again and row is there.
  
  
  
  So between executing the DML on the SDS Sec, sent to the Pri via
  proxy,
  executed at the Pri, logical log record shipped and applied to
  the SDS
  Sec there's a delay, that we don't wait 'til the log record is
  applied
  at the SEC to execute next DML sentence

Problem conclusion

• Removed code which caused us to leave the coordination routine
  prematurely.  Fixed in IDS 11.50.xC10 and IDS 11.70.xC5.
