Error description

  • Handling of the empty string argument by the exsl:node-set()
    function within a stylesheet may restart the appliance.
    

Local fix

  • Do not call exslt:node-set('') in a stylesheet.
    

Problem summary

  • Affected is the use of exslt:node-set() extension function with
    argument of type string (for turning a string into a text node).
    
    DataPower may restart for empty string argument.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 3.8.2.11, 4.0.1.8 and 4.0.2.4
