IC80592: B2B APPLIANCE FAILED TO PROPAGATE BACKEND ERROR TO MQ FRONT SIDE HANDLER

APAR status

Error description

  • DataPower picks up data from the
MQ Front Side Handler (FSH) and if it receives a HTTP status
code 500 or 503 when transferring to the trading partner,
DataPower does not retry sending the data to the partner.

Problem summary


    

  • Affected are users having a B2B Outbound Gateway with
AS1/AS2/AS3 destination.


When using AS as the destination protocol, if the B2B Gateway
detects an error in the response message returned by an external
partner, the error was not propagated to the internal system.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix is available on 3.8.2.11, 4.0.1.8, and 4.0.2.4.
