APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Printer session hang when pressed OK buttom on printer
  properties dialog box.
  

Local fix

• If it is minimized when a printer session is started, return it
  to normal size at once.
  

Problem summary

• Problem scenario: Printer session started in minimized window
  size, and have "Show this dialog before every print"
  option checked in Printer setup; when print job is released, the
  printer setup dialog will pop-up, then user click
  "Setup" button and change something in the printer properties
  dialog box, then press OK.
  Everything relate to printer setup is disappeared on screen, so
  user cannot click OK button in Printer Setup
  to continue print job.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem cause: Window lost focus after creating Printer
  properties dialog box and cannot have it restored.
  Problem conclustion: When PCOMM windos is minimized, close and
  reopen Printer setup dialog box when come back from
  Printer properites dialog box.
