APAR status

Error description

  • The following errors are found running this host application
    with PCOM 6.0.3
    
    The display of special characters.
    
    The formatting of pop-up window when a required field must be
    filled.
    
    The display of some fields which remained on the screen instead
    of disappearing.
    
    The display of some fields which were displayed on the next
    line instead of staying on the same line.
    
    The display of cursors and the function key F4 (cf join file at
    the end of the file).

Problem summary

    Some special characters (0x10 and 0x19) are not displayed on
    VT emulator sessions.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Characters 0x10 and 0x19 were handled as control codes, so
    PCOMM would not draw these characters on the emulator screen.
    VT session was modified to handle Ox10 and 0x19 as characters
    when XLATE_PC_C1_CHARS keyword value is set to Y.
    
    PCSWS.EXE and PCSLTVT.DLL have been changed with this APAR.
    
    Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.4 Refresh Pack
