APAR status

Error description

  • With heavy load coming in to a DataPower FTP Server
Front Side Handler, memory might not be reclaimed.

Local fix

  • Restart appliance when memory usage exceeds 50-60% to recover
unreclaimed memory.

Problem summary

  • Affected is the use of FTP server front side handler (FSH) on
the appliance.

When multiple files are sent over an established connection to
the FSH, memory might not be freed.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available in 3.8.0.18, 3.8.1.18, 3.8.2.9, 4.0.1.6 and
4.0.2.2
