  • Reorg may automatically kick off during an InsertDB causing
performance issues.
Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: 6.1
Customer/L2 Diagnostics: Look for the following messages:
ANR0336I Runstats for table tabname started.
ANR0337I Runstats for table tabname ended with sqlCode 0.
Initial Impact: Medium
Additional Keywords: reorgs runstats run stats insert db slow
long

Local fix

  • Add the following to the dsmserv.opt file to prevent reorgs from
starting:
ALLOWREORGTABLE NO
ALLOWREORGINDEX NO
