APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After an original RSS node is converted to standard mode, and
    becoming the new Primary in a Primary+RSS cluster, onstat -g rss
    still shows "Local server type: Standard".

    In a scenario where the instance is restored from archive, and a
    RSS node is added to the cluster, onstat -g rss will show Local
    server type as Primary.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * When a server is setup prior to HDR, the HDR state is *
    * flagged as "Not Set". After running onstat -d standard, the *
    * HDR state is flagged as "Standard". We needed to add code *
    * to reset the HDR state with the addition of an RSS node. *
