IC78350: CLIENT CONNECTION HANGS AFTER MAKING AN NFS URL-OPEN WRITE CALL

Error description

  • After writing data to the NFS server using the url-open
DataPower extension function, the client connection seems to
hang when
the 'response' attribute is used with the url-open call. This
happens regardless of the response attribute value (for example,
ignore).

Problem summary


    

  • Affected are customers using the DataPower dp:url-open XSLT
extension element to write to an NFS mount while specifying the
"response" attribute.


The dp:url-open extension element never
returns in that case and the transaction that called the
style sheet using that function will appear to hang.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix is available in 3.8.0.16, 3.8.1.16, 3.8.2.7, 4.0.1.4,
4.0.2.1 and XE82 1.0.0.2.
