APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Service Memory Usage, as seen in the WebGUI, Status > Main >
Services Memory Usage, or with the "show services memory"
command, incorrectly reports memory that is no longer in use.
The memory might appear to be high based on this statistic,
because it fails to take into account all released memory.
However, actual memory usage is not affected.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Affected is the display of service memory statistics.

The service memory statistics are updated incorrectly in some
cases, which fail to account for part of the memory released at
    the transaction end.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available in 3.8.2.7, 4.0.1.4, 4.0.2.1 and XE82
    1.0.0.2
