Error description
Tivoli Storage Manager server doesn't time-out the dead sessions caused by network communication fault. The symptom might be seen if a backup client session has network issues (e.g. firewall timeout): even if the client backup ends successfully, the affected session may not get automatically cancelled and stay in Run status indefinitely. Problem is only correlated to environment with client deduplication in use. Cancel the "dead" session with "cancel session" command.
