APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Using the probe when processing MIME attachments might
trigger a race condition.

Local fix

  • Disabling the probe will avoid the issue.

Problem summary

  • Affected are customers processing SOAP messages
 with MIME attachments. In some configurations, processing a wel
l-formed message may cause a firmware restart. This is caused by
 a programming error in handling MIME attachments.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 3.8.0.14, 3.8.1.14, 3.8.
2.5 and 4.0.1.2.
