APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
The device may restart when the service using the processing policy is taking traffic and the processing policy is changed. This can occur by a configuration import to a domain which modifies the XML Manager or by the user modifying the processing policy in the WebGUI.
Local fix
The general practice of stopping transactions to the service before making configuration changes to the corresponding processing policy would prevent the restart.
Problem summary
DataPower customers who modify the processing policy of a service while that service is taking traffic may see a restart.
Problem conclusion
Fix is available in 4.0.1.0, 3.8.2.5, 3.8.1.14, 1.0.0.2
