Error description
When an error rule is configured in a Web Service Proxy, if an error occurs in the request direction and a SOAP 1.2 error response is generated and expected to be returned to the client, this SOAP 1.2 fault message is incorrectly converted to a SOAP 1.1 message before being returned to the client.
Local fix
Problem summary
Affected are customers using a Web Service Proxy doing SOAP Mediation (automatic conversion between different front and back SOAP formats). When an error rule is triggered in the request direction, then the SOAP fault response gets converted to the wrong SOAP format (SOAP 1.1 for a SOAP 1.2 client). SOAP mediation was incorrectly done for error rules in the request direction.
Problem conclusion
The fix is available in 3.8.0.15, 3.8.1.15, 3.8.2.6, 4.0.1.3 and XE82 1.0.0.2
