IC76073: DATA PROTECTION FOR EXCHANGE MAY HAVE INCORRECT OR MISSING ERROR MESSAGES, LIKE ANS0106E, IN NON-ENGLISH LOCALES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Messages that are added in language packs for PTFs after the
  most recent full release 6.1.0 for Data Protection for Exchange
  may not display correctly in languages other than English. For
  example, if Data Protection for Exchange 6.1.3 and the Japanese
  language pack is installed, you may receive the following error
  message when launching the Data Protection for Exchange GUI:
  
  ANS0106E Message index not found for message 5968.
  

Local fix

• Set "LANGuage" to ENU in tdpexc.cfg file to avoid this error
  message

Problem conclusion

• The TSM For Mail: Data Protection for Exchange client now
  includes additional messages are contained in the message
  catalogs and displayed correctly. However, messages added
  after GA will be displayed in English.
