Error description

  • Even though the certificate is expired, an SSL connection can be
established if the Certificate Validation Mode was set to
legacy mode.

Local fix

  • Set the Certificate Validation Mode to PKIX.

Problem summary

  • The valcred in legacy mode may mistakenly accept an expired
certificate if a customer is using 3.8.2.0-3.8.2.3.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available on 3.8.2.4, 4.0.0.0, 4.0.1.0 and
edge1.0.0.0
