IC75586: POLICY MATCH RULE NOT TAKEN WHEN USING A LINUX SFTP CLIENT.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using a scenario such as an SFTP Server Front Side
  Handler (FSH) going to an FTP back-end, the file that is
  uploaded to DataPower will not take the proper match rule
  of the policy when using a Linux SFTP client.  If using a
  Windows SFTP client, the proper rule is selected and
  executed upon.
  

Local fix

• A potential work-around is customer match rule change
  from:
  
  ^.*xyz_[0-9]{8}_[0-9]{4}\.cmp
  
  to
  
  ^.*xyz_[0-9]{8}_[0-9]{4}\.cmp*
  

Problem summary

• During an SFTP write operation from some SFTP clients to the
  DataPower SFTP FSH, extraneous query parameters may be added to
  the URL in the multiprotocol gateway.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix removes extraneous query parameters from URL during SFTP
  Write.
