Error description
IBM Personal Communication v6.0.2 (20101224J) Monitor: ThinkVision L1711p Windows7 Professional Screen resolution: 1600*900 Screen size of display session: 27*132 . The customer has a problem about 3D hotspot function on 5250 display session. When they set window size to max, hotspot button slides a little. I can recreate this issue on PCOM6.0.1 on Windows7. It seems that this issue happens only on Windows7. Also this issue happens only with DBCS host codepage. (not 037) I can reproduce on the system screen which i5 provides. This issue seems to be not dependent on a customer's 5250 application.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users with high resolution monitors * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 3D Hotspot buttons are shifted to the * * left when the 5250 display session is * * maximized. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The user has PCOMM 6.0.2 on Windows 7 with screen resolution set to 1600x900 and enabled 3D Hotspot buttons. When the session windows is maximized, the 3D Hotspot buttons are shifted to left slightly. The button shift is caused by the character width of screen text which has added extra points to fit higher screen resolution (greater than 1280) when maximized. The extra points values were not added to 3D button text, so it makes the 3D button text shift.
Problem conclusion
PCSWS.EXE has been changed to add extra points for 3D button text to fit higher screen resolution settings. Fix scheduled for PCOM 5.9.8 Refresh Pack Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.3 Refresh Pack
