Error description

• A TSM Server abend can occur if communication between the source
  and target Servers is lost while the source Server is actively
  accessing a virtual volume.  The following errors may be seen in
  the activity log on the source Server prior to the abend:
  
     ANR4378E For device class TARGETDEVCLASS, the retry of a
     session with target server TARGET has timed out.

  The abend occurs when the source Server attempts to re-establish
  communications with the target Server.  The call stack from the
  core dump will resemble the following:
