APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the HTTP header with MIME type is invalid, then services
    configured to handle MIME documents can have issues processing
    such incoming requests and might trigger the appliance to
    restart.
    

Local fix

  • Make sure the SOAP messages with MIME attachments have
    correct headers. Disabling MIME attachments (stripping) should
    work around the problem as well.
    

Problem summary

  • Affected are customers processing SOAP messages with MIME
    attachments. In certain configurations, a message with MIME
    attachments and invalid Content-Type header can cause the
    appliance to restart.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 3.8.0.14, 3.8.1.14 and 3.8.2.5
