Error description

  • IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances.

    When running WTX maps on the DataPower appliance and the input
    data involves special characters like &amp as part of the
    XML input, when the data is passed to the CHOOSE function, NULL
    output data is generated.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Affected are DataPower customers using xformbin action
    with WTX maps using CHOOSE function.
    
    
    WTX maps with CHOOSE functions fail to handle special
    characters.
    
    
    
    There was a problem in the implementation of CHOOSE
    function.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available on 3.7.3.17, 3.8.0.11, 3.8.1.10, 3.8.2.2
