Error description

• Users making PAM connections can corrupt global variables used
  by
  the MSC VP which may lead to intermittent -930 errors when
  regular TCP connections attempt remote queries.

  * The I-STAR operation requires the ostcb value.               *

  * Upgrade to IDS 11.50.xC9.                                    *

Problem conclusion

• Make the main thread on the MSC vp save and restore these thread
  globals.
