• A Tivoli Storage Manager V6.x Server, can fail on start up,
  after being upgraded from V5.X.

Local fix

• The following SQL, issued from a DB2 CLP window, will give the
  list of
  missing volumes and the
  adjusted capacity that need to be added to bv_master_supernode
  table.
  
  (The commands assume db name is tsmdb1. Change accordingly)
  
  set db2instance=server1    (only for windows server)
  db2start
  db2 connect to tsmdb1
  db2 set schema tsmdb1
  
  db2 "select volid, capacity-1 as capacity, substr(volname,1,40)
  from
  ds_volume_status
  where volid  not in (select msnid as volid from
  bv_master_supernode)"
  
  
  Now for each row that is displayed, pick up the values for volid
  and capacity
  and do this:
  db2 "insert into bv_master_supernode values( volid, capacity) "
  Then stop db2 and then restart server service/process.
  For 6.1.5 use:
  db2 "insert into bv_master_supernode values( volid, 0,0,
  capacity)"
