IC73268: CDR SYNC REPLICATE AND CDR REALIZE TEMPLATE FAILS WITH RC=1280 IF ENGINE STARTED WITH SHARED MEMORY CONNECTION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If cdr sync or cdr realize template is issued against an engine
  where the engine has been started with INFORMIXSERVER
  environment variable set to a shared memory connection, the sync
  command will report "ER:External sync failed (rc=1280) for
  command" and fail to run.
  
  Setting INFORMIXSERVER to a TCP connection resolves the issue.

  * the INFORMIXSERVER environmental variable when starting up   *
  * the spawned task.  This causes a problem because the cdr     *
  * utility uses multi-connections when performing a sync or     *
  * check process.                                               *

Problem conclusion

• Added code to switch INFORMIXSERVER to the group name when
  connecting.
