IC72783: DELETE FILESPACE CAN LOOP AFTER REPORTING ANR0162W SQL0404N MESSAGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a delete filespace command receives a bad column error return
  code from db2, it can get into a loop and not exit from it.
  
  It will report in the activity log, multiple occurances of:
  
  ANR0162W Supplemental database diagnostic information:
  -1:22001:-404 ([IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/AIX64] SQL0404N  A
   string in the UPDATE or INSERT statement is too long for
   column "".  SQLSTATE=22001).
