Error description

  • When the column name of the source and target table are
    different the cdr check reports every row as a mismatch. If the
    data is unloaded and ouptput is compared there is no difference
    in the data. Below are the outputs:

    cdr check repl -r agency -m g_cdr1 g_cdr2

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * During the check one server was replicating a subscripted *
    * column to a non-subscripted column on another server. *
    * During the check, we were comparing the complete column and *
    * not just the subscripted value. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    * Upgrade to 11.50xC8                                          *

Problem conclusion

  • Code was added to correctly process subscripted columns.
