Error description

  • dp:client-ip-addr() extension function returns an incorrect
client
IP when using the SFTP Front-side handler. The IP captured or
returned by the dp:client-ip-addr() extension function, is the
IP of the DataPower device. That is, the IP address assigned or
used to access the SFTP Front-side handler.

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The IP address of the TCP peer will now be displayed in the log
and returned from the extension function.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix is in 3.8.0.9 and 3.8.1.7.
