IC71221: MIGRATION MAY FAIL WITH ANR0125W IF THE NEXT STORAGE POOL IS A SEQUENTIAL STORAGE POOL WITH NO SPACE AVAILABLE

Error description

• Migration may fail with ANR0125W if the next storage
  pool is a sequential storage pool with no space available but
  the next storage pool defined for that sequential storage pool
  has enough space.
  This is most likely to occur when the source storage pool is
  deduplicated. If source is disk storage pool, then the problem
  does not apply.
  
  Following is the setup, where this symptom has been observed:
  
  DEDUPPOOL1 (deduplicated FILE storage pool) -> DEDUPPOOL2
  (deduplicated FILE storage pool with MAXSCR=0) -> TAPEPOOL1
  (tape storage pool with MAXSCR=80)
  
  Migration from DEDUPPOOL1 storage pool should skip pool
  DEDUPPOOL2 due to MAXSCR=0, however it does not. Instead it
  fails with "ANR1025W Migration process 760 terminated for
  storage pool DEDUPE - insufficient space in subordinate storage
  pool." eventhough TAPEPOOL1 has MAXSCR=80 and only few scratch
  volumes defined in it.
  
  TSM Versions Affected:
  Tivoli Storage Manager server 6.2.x on all platforms.
