IC70980: GETTING A -27009 ERROR WHEN TRYING TO DROP A NON-EXISTENT DATABASE IN DATABASE CLUSTER WITH GROUP MODE

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• There are 3 nodes in a database server cluster. One is HDR
  primary, one is HDR secondary, the other is SDS secondary. All
  nodes are all up. Applications connect to this cluster in group
  mode. When trying to drop a non-existent database, -27009 error
  will be returned.

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in 11.50 xC9. Will return -329 error only if the group
  contains no PRIMARY/STANDARD server else it will return -27009.
