Error description
System level: Pcom 5.9.6 6.0 6.0.1 If uploading a text file in SJIS that contains DBCS string on 3270 session with HCP 1399 or 1390 (Japanese Unicode) and PC codepage 1041, some DBCS strings are broken. Trace shows that Pcom inserted unnecessary 0x0000 at the tail of file transfer packet if DBCS string is devided into two pieces between packets. And the following DBCS characters are garbeged or SI (shift-in) is inserted at invalid position. This symptom is not recreatable on HCP 939/930 session. keyword : xfer 3270 1399 ftp pcsxfer

Problem summary
Customer using 5.9.6 with IC66141 to upload fil e to 3270 host; however, he got garbage code inserted after uplo ad. It looks like an unnecessary 0x0000 was inserted at end of file transfer packet and break DBCS character order in next pack et. Problem cause : Incorrect file pointer position was referenced when reading to a DBCS character and reached packet size that will split the DBCS character and casue error.
