Error description

• The finger command is required for the TSM server installation
  wizards. Without access to the finger command, the GUI will
  hang. This should be documented in the prerequisites for
  installation of the TSM server.

Problem conclusion

• he following command must be enabled so that the

  By default, the command is enabled:
  
      * AIX operating systems: lsuser
      * HP-UX and Sun Solaris operating systems: logins
      * Linux operating systems: finger
  
  
  Affected platforms:  AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, and Linux.
