IC70023: DSMUPGDX FAILS ON DATABASE FORMAT

Error description

• When using the dsmupgdx wizard to upgrade a Tivoli Storage
  Manager server, either media or network method, it could fail
  during the database format stage with the following message:
  
  Configure Instance
  Database Format Failed
  The format of the new server database failed with return code .
  Examine the format output to determine the cause of the failure.
  Correct the condition, and re-start the wizard.

  The above error could be seen with any of the following options:
  
  TCPPort
  TCPADMINPort
  SHMPort
  SSLTCPPort
  SSLTPCADMINPort
  
  The problem is related to that line in the options file. Review
  the file to make sure there are no additional characters on the
  line and that there are no 'tab' spaces between the option and
  the value (the space bar should be used to add spaces).
  
  Initial Impact: Low
  Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: All 6.1/6.2 Servers

Local fix

• Make sure the options file does not have any additional
  characters and that there are no tab spaces between the option
  and the value.
