APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is using 'LAN via IEEEE802.2' connectivity on PCOM6.0.
  Customer wants to specify fixed workstation ID by each 5250
  session.
  However, even if customer specifies Workstation ID on GUI
  and saves the change, Workstation ID is not saved in WS file.
  Customer needs to edit the WS file and adds workstation ID.
  

Local fix

• Add the following parameter under 5250 stanza in .ws file
  manually.
   WorkStationID=<your WSID>

  When the 5250 session profile WS file is written to the file
  system, the workstation ID value is overwritten with a NULL
  string.
  

Problem conclusion

• PCSCC.DLL has been changed to not NULL the workstation ID in
  the WS file if a value is set by the user.
  
  Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.2 Manufacturing Refresh
