IC69926: ONMODE_MON THREAD CRASHES IN _CHK_QUAL TRYING TO REPORT AN AUDITMESSAGE WHEN TRYING TO BRING THE SERVER ONLINE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This can happen with certain audit masks enabled (ONIN), or high
  levels for audit mode (ADTMODE 7).  In these cases, the
  main_loop thread tries to generate an audit message with I
  believe the arguments that the server was brought online with.
  When trying to do this, it actually sends a message via the
  onmode command method, which triggers the onmode_mon thread to
  actually create and write the audit record.
  
  The onmode_mon thread crashes with the following stack:
  
  _chk_qual()
  rdtimestr()
  adt_writeaudit()
  onmode_monitor()
  startup()
